WELCOME TO LEAP

LEAP stands for LIFE EMPOWERMENT ACTION PROGRAMME. We are a section 21 registered NPO (Non Profitable Organisation).

Our vision is to develop strategic alliances between private and public sectors unlocking the potential to uplift communities. Our mission is to empower (job creation) the youth with skills and entrepreneurial resources who will be able to develop small and medium enterprises for the members within their communities.

LEAP will create sustainable opportunities with our projects by means of job creation whereby we will educate and train previously unemployed people, transferring skills and mentorship which will uplift and assist poor communities and therefore alleviate poverty and unemployment.

As an NPO, we approach possible sponsors and funders to assist us with projects, more commonly known as CSI projects (Corporate Social Investment). This assistance can vary from the sponsorship of materials to funding and investment for a project in order to maintain LEAP's sustainability to continue uplifting communities and empowering individuals.

JOZINI ORPHANAGE AND DAY CARE CENTRE

LEAP was approached by Pastor Bheki Mpontshane, who is the Pastor at "The Voice Calling in the Wilderness" church, to assist him with the abundance of orphans he is taking care of in his community. He mentioned that he would like to refurbish his church into a facility that would accommodate some of the orphans. LEAP decided to take this request a few steps further and decided to give him a lot more than just a refurbished church.
